There are over 8,000 host companies that actively participate in our internship program. These host companies span across a wide range of industries. This diversity ensures that we can offer you a wealth of options to choose from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Participants in the Internship Program do not receive remuneration from host companies. In Australia, an internship is considered a vocational training period offered by an organization for a limited, unpaid time.

Unpaid internships are legal in Australia if they form part of a vocational placement as defined by the Fair Work Act 2009.

Consult the Fair Work Australia website for more information about the rules related to work experience and internships.

If a candidate is unsuccessful in an interview with a host company, they will be granted up to three interview opportunities, according to the program's terms and conditions.

A candidate is considered unsuccessful in an interview if rejected by the host company.

While there is a positive history of interns receiving permanent job offers at their host company (over 60%) and starting to work in their field of study after the internship, the Internship Program providers do not guarantee employment as part of the program. The outcome depends on several factors, including the intern's performance during the internship.

To increase the likelihood of receiving a job offer, it is recommended to take proactive measures such as gaining comprehensive knowledge about the company and industry, working diligently, showcasing your skills and abilities, building professional networks, and continuously improving your knowledge and skills throughout the internship with the host company. These actions can significantly enhance your chances of securing employment at the end of the internship.

Absolutely!

If you are looking for an internship as part of your university or higher education course and need help finding one, the first thing you should do is gather the official documents from your university or educational institution detailing the credit requirements for the internship. We recommend consulting with your course advisor or the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team at your university to understand the specific requirements for internship or placement subjects, as these can vary between universities.

If you would like more information, please feel free to contact us at info@careergrowthstudio.com or through the Chatbox on the right side of the screen. We will be happy to provide more details.

If you decide to voluntarily withdraw from the program and terminate the agreement with the Internship Program provider, the non-refundable application fee will be retained. However, you may be eligible for a refund of the program fees before the program initiation, which refers to the moment you are assigned an Internship Program Supervisor and internship counseling and/or program negotiation begins.

We recommend that you carefully read the Program Terms and Conditions for more details.

If you have a genuine intention to renew your soon-to-expire visa, you are eligible to join the program. Similarly, if you are currently on a bridging visa, you can also start the program.

No, participating in an internship does not count toward your weekly work hour limit. According to Australian legislation, an internship is not classified as employment. Therefore, the hours worked during an internship are not subject to the restrictions imposed by the Student Visa regarding work hour limitations, even if the 48-hour fortnight restriction is reinstated.

No, we do not directly provide the Internship Program. Our mission is to connect you with our partners, who are the providers of the Internship Program. They will guide you through the process of starting your internship.

Yes, part-time professional internships are available. It is possible to study and do an internship at the same time. These opportunities are specifically designed for candidates already in Australia on a Student Visa. If you have another type of visa and are interested in participating in a part-time program, please contact us for more information.

Candidates can work up to 20 hours per week for a minimum period of 12 weeks. The specific days and/or hours of work will be determined during the internship negotiation process. For more details, please contact us.

Yes, it is possible to do a virtual internship.

The Virtual Internship Program provides students and professionals the opportunity to gain work experience with an Australian company, all in a remote professional setting. Throughout the program, interns are supervised by a mentor and actively participate in real projects assigned by the host company in various fields and industries.

A virtual internship offers an excellent opportunity to start your professional career in Australia, improve your skills, actively participate in real projects, and receive mentoring from experienced professionals. The best part is that it offers flexibility in terms of working hours.

Internships are offered in almost all major cities in Australia, as well as in some specific regional areas.

Generally, it takes 3 to 4 months from the enrollment date until the candidate starts their internship. This period covers the entire process of finding a suitable internship opportunity.

What sets us and our partners apart from other internship providers is our commitment to providing personalized internship experiences. We prioritize matching each candidate with the most suitable internship based on their interests, skills, and career goals. Our extensive network of reputable companies and organizations allows us to offer diverse and high-quality internship opportunities in various industries and professional fields.

Additionally, our partners focus on providing comprehensive support throughout the internship process. Their dedicated team is available to assist participants with any questions, concerns, or challenges they may encounter. We strive to ensure a positive and valuable experience for each participant, offering guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

The Internship Program is not limited to recent graduates. It is suitable for individuals who have completed their undergraduate, bachelor’s degree, or other tertiary qualification, regardless of when they graduated.

We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those who completed their degree some time ago.

The program aims to provide valuable professional opportunities and development for individuals at different stages of their careers.

Not having prior experience in your field does not necessarily make you less attractive to a company looking for interns.

Many companies understand that internships are a valuable opportunity for individuals or recent graduates to gain practical experience and develop their skills. They often seek enthusiastic, motivated, and willing-to-learn candidates. While relevant experience can be beneficial, host companies also consider factors such as your academic background, transferable skills, and potential for growth. It is important to highlight your passion, willingness to learn, and commitment to making the most of the internship opportunity.

By emphasizing your strengths and demonstrating a strong work ethic, you can still be an attractive candidate for an internship, even without prior experience in your field.

Yes, we offer some paid internships; however, it is important to note that these opportunities are exceptional and primarily available in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources, and Event Management.

The duration of the internship typically ranges from 12 to 26 weeks. As part of the program, both full-time and part-time opportunities are offered. For more detailed information about specific program durations, we suggest consulting the Program Price List section.

No, you do not need to be studying something directly related to the internship to participate in the program. We welcome candidates from diverse academic fields and consider their skills, interests, and potential for growth when finding suitable internship opportunities for them.

The application fee is non-refundable (see the Program Price List section). Regarding program fees, the following conditions apply:

  • If internship negotiations have not yet started, it is possible to obtain a 50% refund of the program fee.
  • Once internship program negotiations have begun, 50% of the program fee will be retained or payable to the Internship Program provider.
  • If you have started paying the program fees, it is possible to obtain a 50% refund of the program fee if internship negotiations have begun. If you have not yet started paying the program fees, a 50% payment of the program fee will be required if internship negotiations have begun.
  • If you have participated in one or more interviews, secured an internship, or the host company has signed the Training Agreement, the internship program will retain 50% of the program fees.
  • Specific details about refunds and payments can be found in the program's terms and conditions.

The Internship Program has an impressive employability rate of 60%, meaning a significant portion of participants secure job opportunities after completing their internships.

We and our partners take pride in this high employability rate, as it reflects the effectiveness of our program in equipping interns with valuable skills and experiences that make them attractive candidates in the job market.

Our focus on providing practical training and exposure to real work environments helps interns develop the competencies and industry knowledge sought by employers. By immersing themselves in professional environments and participating in meaningful projects, interns gain the confidence and experience that contribute to their employability and future job prospects.

We constantly strive to maintain and improve this employability rate, ensuring that our program remains a pathway to success for our interns.
